We successfully concluded a two-day Case Study Workshop organised at Dr. Moonje Institute of Management and Computer Studies (DMIMCS), Nashik, Maharashtra, in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management Nagpur.
The workshop was an enriching academic experience, particularly for faculty members aspiring to develop high-quality management case studies and bring greater experiential learning into the classroom.
We were privileged to have Prof. Rakesh Gupta, Professor in the area of Strategy & Entrepreneurship, as the Resource Person. With a Ph.D. in Strategic Entrepreneurship from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Prof. Gupta brings 8 years of industry experience along with extensive academic and case-writing expertise.
A passionate case writer and case-based educator, Prof. Gupta has authored cases that have received recognition, including the “Best Case Award” at ISB, Hyderabad. His exposure to international faculty-development programmes at Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management and Babson College, along with training in Design Thinking from Stanford University, added tremendous depth to the workshop.

The most valuable insight was perhaps that case writing is not simply about narrating an organisational story—it is about creating a situation that makes the learner think, analyse, question and decide.
