Dr. Moonje Institute of Management and Computer Studies (DMIMCS), Nashik, organised a one-day Cyber Security Awareness and Career Opportunities Workshop on 30 September 2026 in the institute’s auditorium, engaging approximately 300 MBA and MCA students in an insightful learning experience.
The workshop featured industry experts from White Band Associates, Nashik, who bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world cybersecurity practices. Through expert-led sessions, students explored common cyberattacks, data protection strategies, safe social media practices, and emerging career opportunities in specialised domains such as Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Security Operations Centre (SOC).
The interactive sessions encouraged students to think critically about digital threats, strengthen their cybersecurity awareness, and understand the growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals. Students who successfully cleared the final assessment were awarded certificates, recognising their learning and achievement.
