International Women’s Day Celebration – Awareness Session on Menstrual Health & PCOS Management
On the occasion of International Women’s Day , 10 March 2026, an awareness session on “Menstrual Health & PCOS Management” was organized at Dr. Moonje Institute of Management & Computer Studies, Nashik. The program aimed to promote awareness about women’s health, menstrual hygiene, and the management of PCOS among female students.
The session was specially arranged for girl students from BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA programs and was conducted at 11:00 AM in the DMI Auditorium. The initiative was organized by the institute in collaboration with doctors from Shri Guruji Hospital, Nashik.
The expert doctors delivered an informative talk covering important aspects of menstrual hygiene, symptoms of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), preventive measures, and lifestyle management. The session helped students understand common health challenges faced by women and encouraged them to adopt healthier habits and seek timely medical guidance.
Students actively participated in the interactive discussion and clarified their doubts related to menstrual health and hormonal issues. The experts also emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, regular exercise, stress management, and medical consultation for maintaining reproductive health.
The event successfully created awareness about women’s health issues and reinforced the institute’s commitment to supporting the well-being, empowerment, and health education of its students.
